This Privacy Statement describes how CLEbook (“CLEbook,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at www.clebook.ai and the CLEbook service (the “Service”).

Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address, and password or authentication identifiers you provide when you create an account.
• Professional information — bar number, jurisdiction, firm name, reporting period, and other details you supply so we can find and register you for relevant CLE webcasts.
• Connected accounts — when you connect a Google or Microsoft account, we receive OAuth tokens that let us read or write only specific resources you authorize (namely, calendar events).
• Usage data — log data, device information, and analytics about how you interact with the Service.

How we use information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To discover free CLE webcasts that match your jurisdiction and preferences, register you on participating provider sites, and add the resulting events to your calendar.
• To send transactional messages (account verification, reminders, and service notifications).
• To respond to your support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Use of Google and Microsoft user data

The use and transfer of raw or derived user data received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

CLEbook's use and transfer of information received from Microsoft Graph adheres to Microsoft's equivalent platform policies. We use requested scopes from Google and Microsoft only to identify that your calendar matches the email you have connected to our platform, and to create or update calendar events on your behalf. We do not sell any user data, and we do not share it with third parties except as described in this policy or where required to comply with applicable laws or regulations.

How we share information

• CLE providers. When you ask CLEbook to register you for a webcast, we submit the registration form on your behalf, which discloses information you have provided (such as name, email, bar number, and firm) to the provider.
• Service providers. We use third-party vendors for hosting, analytics, email delivery, and error monitoring. These vendors process information on our behalf under confidentiality and security obligations.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, lawful requests, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Artificial intelligence

CLEbook optionally uses third-party artificial intelligence models from Anthropic and OpenAI for a single purpose: to help discover free CLE webcasts available online. We do not share any user data with these AI services. In particular, no data obtained from Google or Microsoft APIs — and no account information, professional information, connected-account data, or calendar data — is ever sent to, or used by, Anthropic, OpenAI, or any AI model provider. These models receive only non-user, publicly available information used to search for CLE offerings.

Data retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing admin@clebook.ai.

Your choices

• Disconnect a linked Google or Microsoft account at any time by emailing admin@clebook.ai.
• Update or correct your profile information at any time.
• Request export or deletion of your data by emailing admin@clebook.ai.

Children

The Service is intended for licensed attorneys and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this statement

We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the Service before they take effect.
